Registered Massage Therapists assess soft tissues and joints of the body to help treat and prevent injury, pain and physical disorders.

Along the way I have always recognized the effectiveness of a collaborative therapeutic approach towards exceptional patient centred care. As a member of the BCAK and practicing kinesiologist, I strive to motivate, educate, and promote return to work/sport through practical and safe rehabilitation.

Victor graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in December 2021. Before graduating from WCCMT, he studied Kinesiology at Capilano University which sparked his passion for human anatomy and rehabilitation. Having gone through multiple injuries himself, he was inspired to help others with their rehabilitation process. As a competitive soccer and lacrosse player as well as a runner, I spent a considerable amount of time sidelined through injury. This passion for physical activity and developing interest in rehab led me to pursue first a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University, followed by a Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Using an exercise and manual therapy-based approach, I firmly believe that physiotherapy is most effective when care is delivered with strong communication and empowerment through education. My priorities are to ensure you feel listened to, understood, and able to enjoy your own personal experience and process of recovery. Just as no two people are the same, no two recovery paths are the same: I enjoy working with a wide variety of clients on a treatment plan that suits your specific needs. Outside the clinic, you can find me on a soccer pitch, golf course, mountain top, or couch watching whatever soccer game is on.

(He/Him/His)
I have always been deeply passionate about fitness and health, stemming from my early involvement in competitive sports. My journey led me to fall in love with weight training, which not only transformed my own body but also ignited a decade-long career in personal training. Over the years, facing numerous injuries while training for strongman competitions, I became increasingly focused on the recovery aspect of fitness. This shift in focus awakened a desire to employ manual techniques to enhance assessment and recovery processes. Motivated by this, I pursued and completed my certification as a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT).
Today, my primary goal is to empower my clients to lead active, pain-free lives. I am dedicated to applying my deep understanding of physical fitness and recovery techniques to help each client achieve their personal health goals.

One of the biggest lessons I learned throughout my time studying Kinesiology and Physiotherapy at UBC is that every treatment plan should be tailored to each patient in a unique way - no two people are exactly the same and the rehabilitation process should reflect that.
I am also a firm believer in forming community during the process, and it’s amazing that we get the opportunity to connect with our patients through treatment and rehab.
Along with using my manual therapy skills to treat the patient, I’m also very strong on listening to the patient, as well as providing insight through education – it’s important that you are listened to, know what is going on, and what to expect moving forward. I can speak to you in either English and/or Cantonese, so let’s connect and start this journey together!
With my free time you’ll find me at the gym, on the volleyball court, or shooting hoops…and admittedly also sometimes sitting at home watching basketball, hockey, or football.

Since I was a kid I always had strong communication skills and a desire to help others. I grew up speaking three languages (English, Russian and French), which has made me a great listener. After receiving my education at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, I quickly realized that I chose the right field. I was lucky enough to gain a lot of experience working with patients seeking treatment for a variety of reasons. I worked with children and families at Canucks Place, acute and chronic burn or trauma victims at the Vancouver General Hospital and Varsity athletes at the University of British Columbia. Since then, using my constantly evolving skills to help others has been an addicting experience, and I strive to be the best Therapist I can possibly be. I enjoy digging for articles that challenge my core beliefs as a practitioner because I find reading the best way to stay up to date with the world of medical science. I believe in strong communication with patients and that educating people about their own bodies is the best way to strive for a better quality of life. Re-evaluating progress and never being afraid to seek advice or help when needed has allowed me to create a strong mindset for my practice.
Although my family and career are both very important to me, sports are not very far behind. Growing up I played almost every sport possible and although I was definitely never the most talented, I tried to make up for it with a elite level of work ethic. Since my hands are my work, I have replaced competitive sports with outdoor activities and British Columbia has been an amazing back yard. I also enjoy playing the guitar and piano, both of which I learned by myself.
Since I was a kid I always had strong communication skills and a desire to help others. I grew up... Read More

After completing a Kinesiology degree at the University of British Columbia, I made a bold decision to enter my first bodybuilding competition, which unfortunately was soon cancelled due to the pandemic. Despite not actually competing, my curiosity for the functionality and capacity of the human body grew tremendously, encouraging me to pursue the Masters of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Toronto.
I truly believe that your body is your most valuable asset. At least that is what I have personally learned having been a personal trainer for over 8 years, and now being a physiotherapist. Through a holistic approach incorporating manual therapy, exercise prescription, and evidence-informed education, I am keen to be a part of your journey to optimal movement and living.
Physiotherapy is more than just a last resort, it is a step forward in achieving your next goal. I am excited to learn about your story in Cantonese, English, or Mandarin. In addition to musculoskeletal conditions, I have a strong interest pelvic health and vestibular conditions in individuals of all ages
